The annual Formula Student Cups, held in different countries, are the highlights and rewards for the weeks and months of hard work. The students are allowed to compete with their self-assembled vehicles against teams from all over the world. The evaluation is based on the overall- package of construction, racing performance, cost report and business plan. For that the Formula Student competitions are divided into so called dynamic and static events:
In the static events the team has to explain their construction solutions, present their business plan and defend the calculated cost report in front of a jury of experts of the automotive industry and its subcontractors.
During the dynamic events the prototype model has to prove its qualities concerning acceleration, handling, fuel consumption as well as endurance on the race track.
